Denno Say’s he’s dead play

Adapting the plot of Ray Cooney’s “Run for your wife”, Millers Productions Kenya have creatuvely taken the 1983 script, modernized the plot and fit it in a typical Kenyan setting.

Dennis Wafula aka Denno is a former matatu driver, upgraded to an Uber driver who is caught up in a love web.

He’s married to 2 women; Maria, (living in Pangani) a conservative teacher, not Dennis’ type of girl but had to marry her because she would buy him a vehicle and the sassy Shaniqwa (living in Roysambu), his type of girl; the Slay queen and part time model had to quit being a socialite after getting married to Denno.

Denno has to keep a very tight and disciplined schedule not to arouse suspicion. However, Hell breaks lose when Denno accidentally goes to the wrong house as per his schedule after having a run in with Kayole’s Gaza gang.

Denno’s efforts to untangle himself brings about hilarious turns and twists. His partner in crime, Mshamba, doesn’t seem to be much of help either. Thika road is about to experience a busy day from Denno, who has to shuttle between Pangani and Roysambu.
